Ian Marlow

Ian founded HfM in 1996, and has grown it from a small home office to our current base in the City of London, retaining a personal relationship with many of our clients. He loves helping small business to thrive and also deals with personal tax clients, particularly those who have residence or domicile issues to consider. Ian has an MBA in Small Business Administration and is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, making him uniquely qualified and experienced to assist others who are building their businesses.

Lesley Hercock

Lesley has worked in personal tax for most of her working life and is very experienced in dealing with tax issues. She joined us from a large West End firm and we are delighted that she now leads our tax team here at HFM. She will make sure tax returns are dealt with efficiently and that we always consider ways in which we can help with tax planning. If you are dealing with an HMRC enquiry then Lesley will be able to advise on the best way to deal with this and work with enquiry specialists if necessary to reach the best possible conclusion.

IAN BLACK

Ian is a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) qualifying in 1992. He has worked as an accountant for over 30 years in a variety of roles in practice, in industry and the not for profit sector. He joined HfM in 2003, working part time initially so his working hours fitted in with school run but is now full time, working mainly for our portfolio of companies. He enjoys using his experience to prepare accounts and assist clients wherever possible in the management of their business. Wherever possible he is on the lookout for ways in which clients can manage their affairs in a tax-efficient manner.

DANIELA CORRADINI

Bookkeeping Manager

DANIELA CORRADINI

Dani is an ACCA qualified accountant but with many years of experience in bookkeeping before she qualified in 2007. Starting first as a sales ledger clerk in an accountancy training company back in 1987, Dani quickly moved to more responsible roles as she gained more experience. Dani, has been working for HfM for the past 10 years first as a bookkeeper gaining extensive experience in Sage, QuickBooks, and Kashflow, and now managing the bookkeeping and accounts work. She excels in setting up accounting systems for small businesses and training clients how to make the best use of them. Dani also deals with most of our VAT issues and prepares accounts for self-employed and company clients.

JULIE HOUGHTON-CAREY

Payroll Manager

JULIE HOUGHTON-CAREY

Julie has extensive experience working in payroll and in guiding clients through the intricacies and legalities of paying staff. Before joining HFM she worked for a large payroll software company on their helpdesk advising clients about technical payroll issues. You will find her exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable about everything to do with payroll.
