We have now gone further and removed all of our paper filing systems. Papers have been scanned into our database, shredded and recycled. All our files are now held electronically and accessed when needed on a state of the art system from wherever our staff require them.

Staff are therefore able to work from home for most of the week which saves energy in commuting costs as well as giving them more flexibility. And as a result we use less paper, less space and less power. After the initial investment it's both cheaper and better for the planet.
